I wonder what the people would say if they were allowed to set the salaries of Chief and Council?!
Im sure we wouldnt be paying them over $100,000 each per year. But then, you can t have employees make more than the Chief, can you?!
Amd since Rama has employees who make over $100,000 annually (thanks in part to some outrageous salary grid they paid someone to create, and then they adopted it), we will never see it come down unnless we have a new Chief, and a new Council filled with people who are not head nodders.
This is how it should be on every First Nation the people set the salaries for the Chief and Council. Band money belongs to the band members , but here in Rama we don,t have a say in how it is used hope for change.
