Well i guess we have to wait until the Chief can have the media there to find out how the vote went on the claim well we all ready no what has happened on the other three first nation, Any thing to make her look good i guess.
I cant believe there wasnt anyone present scrutinizing votes who could share the results with community. I guess if there were any scrutineers present, they were probably friends of the C&C, and that is why the info isnt being shared.
Re Nawash, my understanding is that if it looks like another vote would result in a "yes" or "no" either way, then the Minister of Indian Affairs would permit another vote. I guess its just a matter of time before we know.
And the extra day will give the Chief and her writer some time to spin a good story so she looks good to the public.
Does anybody know what will happen with the reserve that did not have enough voters? Does that mean all 4 reserves will have to vote again? Or just the 1 reserve that didn't have enough voters? Do they need 51% of each reserve ? or 51% all reserves?
Naywash voted no! Coldwater treaty is dead. Now whats the chief going to do?
ReplyDeleteThey will most likely have another vote is,nt it 51%
