Chief and council are accountable to their community...yet she resides outside the reserve. Maybe elected officials should have to reside on reserve at least while in office. If the community doesn't want internal business splashed all over the pages of outside publications (where the entire community will be made to look incompetent and unable to run our own affairs) re-affirming the government of Canada's assertion that First Nations are unable to handle their own issues, and yes giving the bigots more than enough ammo to further marginalize our people. Thanks a bunch chief and council for screwing us all over.
