I recall when this was announced and the C&C made a big "to do" about it, l think the official "ground-breaking" was August 2008. I remember, as employee in Rama's Education Dept, trying to get info on what types of careers, and no one knew anything. I recall thinking it was an election ploy. Well, 3 1/2 years later, after spending close to 2 million dollars (over 3 years, that we know of) on costs (unknown) connected to this project, Chippewas of Rama still has nothing concrete to show for it. How's that for management! Well they're bringing us ec dev - l understand they're gonna "pave paradise and put up a parking lot!" They just havent shared/informed/told the people yet, so l assume the parking lots are going where this health centre of excellence was to be built. And even tho l asked the Chief twice about referendums on parking lots, and was told twice there would be, the Chief now says l misunderstood, and she never said we would have a referendum. As if l would attend a council meeting about this if l wasnt telling the truth and seeking truth. What a liar. But l guess if you're trying to keep people in the dark, then you lie to maintain your place. And l wouldnt write this is it wasnt true.
