Step Up

Step up and help people when they need it. We use to be the sharing , caring people.as native people we help our brother out. Stand up for your rights , what do you fear? You have rights . Why do so many worry about there jobs , what about the way things are here you complain but say nothing i guess if you have a job that's all that matters. One day your going to wish you had.

  1. I hear what you are saying. The residential schools really did a number on our people. I think our people are easily intimidated by authority figures. Sad to see that our leadership is not sensitive to this or they are using it to their advantage. When leaders empower the people they serve, they empower themselves.

  10. We Rama Band members should hire our own lawyer for the upcoming landclaim referendum. Pretty bad when you can't have trust in your own C&C. I want someone there that can give legal advice if I can't understand exactly what I'm signing.

  12. The common theme or shall I say greed is people worrying about getting their "Rama Money". Have any of you stepped in the casino lately, the anwser is probably yes. About 80 percent of the band members are there blowing the money they receive then half of that 80 percent complain that they require assistance from Rama because they can't make ends meet and then complain that Rama won't help. WELL DON'T GO TO THE CASINO AND WASTE THAT MONEY.
